This PSU is supported for all platforms as stated for 11.1.2.4 in Release 11.1.2.x Certification Matrix, and can be applied to Hyperion Shared Services 11.1.2.4.000 and 11.1.2.4.001 installations.

Refer to the Readme file prior to proceeding with this PSU implementation for important information that includes a full list of the defects fixed, along with additional support information, prerequisites, details for applying patch and troubleshooting FAQ's.

Patch Set Update: Hyperion Tax Provision 11.1.2.4.200

The following Patch Set Update (PSU) has been released for Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision:

Prequisites:

The following Hyperion product patches are required for use with this PSU release:

  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2.4.101 or later
  • Oracle Hyperion Smart View client 11.1.2.5.510 or later
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Reports 11.1.2.4.000 or later

This patch can be applied to Hyperion Tax Provision 11.1.2.4.000 or 11.1.2.4.100. Where upgrading from 11.1.2.4, follow all the upgrade instructions for upgrading from 11.1.2.4.000 to 11.1.2.4.100.

New Features:

The following new features have been added to this patch.

  • Tax Loss and Tax Credit Automation for National Provision
    • New capability for tax user to automate Tax Losses for national provision via a tax user friendly UI. Functionality handles tax loss deferral, utilization (including US IRS Code Section 382 loss limitation), sequence utilization of multiple internally generated and/or acquired losses, and expiration.
    • New capability for tax user to automate Tax Credits for national provision via a tax user friendly UI. Functionality handles tax credit utilization (including limitation by percentage or amount), sequence utilization of multiple Tax Credit types, and expiration.
  • Copy RTA to different Scenarios
    • New capability to automate copying RTA between Scenario(s) and reporting standards. RTA can be configured to be copied to additional scenarios, e.g. Forecast, Interim Provision, Budget via a tax user friendly UI.
  • Country by Country Reporting (OECD)
    • Patch features automated Country by Country reports required by OECD. The reports include totals by country, links to detail by country and entity, and expandable Total Revenues, Income Tax Paid, and Income Tax Accrued.

Patch Set Update: Oracle Data Relationship Management 11.1.2.4.321

The following Patch Set Update (PSU) has been released for Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) 11.1.2.4.x.

This PSU download is available from the My Oracle Support | Patches & Updates section.

Patch 22000945

This is the sixth patch on the DRM 11.1.2.4.000 release, and is inclusive of the previous five PSU 11.1.2.4.3xx releases.

This PSU requires a full installation, and can be installed on a new machine or replace an existing installation

When this patch replaces an existing 11.1.2.4.x installation, related components such as Hyperion Foundation Services are not affected. However, upgrading from a release prior to 11.1.2.4.x will require an upgrade of Foundation Services to 11.1.2.4.

Details of the supported paths to this patch are outlined in the Readme file. This file also contains prequisite information that includes required (MS Windows) user account permissions, memory configuration, and required Patch Set Exception (PSE) for integrating DRM with Enterprise Performance Management Architect EPMA) 11.1.2.4.

NEW FEATURES

  • Integration with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications

A new application template is available to auto-configure Data Relationship Management to enable the creation and management of custom hierarchies for the Business Unit dimension in Oracle Business Intelligence Applications.

After the template is loaded, business units can be imported from the BI Warehouse, organized into custom hierarchies in Data Relationship Management, and exported back to the BI Warehouse for reporting purposes in Oracle BI Applications.

This application template is compatible with Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.1.
