Patch Set Update: Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision 11.1.2.3.702

The following Patch Set Update (PSU) has been released for Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision:

This PSU download is available from the My Oracle Support | Patches & Updates section.

About this Patch :

  • The Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision 11.1.2.3.702 PSU is backward compatible with Release 11.1.2.3.500.
  • To use Internet Explorer release 11 in standard mode instead of in Enterprise Mode you must apply the 11.1.2.3.700 PSU for all EPM products in your deployment. After you apply this patch, you can no longer use Internet Explorer 11 in Enterprise Mode.


Supported Paths to This Patch:

  • You can apply this patch to Oracle Hyperion Tax Provision Release 11.1.2.3.701.

Prerequisites:

  • The application has been developed and tested on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System 11.1.2.3.700.
  • Patch 11.1.2.3.702 is also backwards compatible with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System 11.1.2.3.500.


All HTP applications have to be upgraded to the artifacts in this patch..

Refer to the readme of each PSU to determine the supported path of each one and confirm which existing releases it can be applied to.

Note: Essbase Administration Services 11.1.2.4.010, Essbase 11.1.2.4.011, and Provider Services 11.1.2.4.011 are supported for use with Essbase Studio 11.1.2.4.011.

RECOMMENDATION:

Oracle recommends using the same version of all Essbase portfolio products (Essbase, Essbase Administration Services, Hyperion Provider Services, and Essbase Studio) and components (server, client, runtime client, API, and JAPI). When only some Essbase portfolio products are included in a patch release, the last released versions of the products that are not included in the patch are supported.

After a patch is applied within the same release codeline, Oracle recommends as a best practice that you export the data from your databases, clear the data from the databases, and then reload the data.

    This Patch Set Update (PSU) requires a full installation. This patch can be installed on a new machine or replace an existing installation.

    If this patch will replace an existing 11.1.2.4.x installation, related components such as Hyperion Foundation Services are not affected.  However, upgrading from a release prior to 11.1.2.4.x will require an upgrade of Foundation Services to 11.1.2.4.

    This is the ninth patch on the 11.1.2.4.000 release.
