After playing around with it for a couple of hours I must say:
“WELL DONE ORACLE”
It’s a great collection of how to’s and tips and tricks.
Most of the stuff is nicely documented!.
So clean up your hard drive and get this download!

OBIEE11g Capacity Planning
Christian S. from artofbi.com mentioned on one of the OBIEE mailing list a document floating around on support.oracle.com callled “Oracle BI EE Architectural Deployment: Capacity Planning ” . It comes with a nice spreadsheet to do some basic calculations for you capacity planning.
Although I personally find the default percentage of concurrent users a bit high (10%) 
it a good starting point.
