Monthly Update Schedule:
We would like to inform you of the upcoming monthly update for your Cloud environments. We will apply the latest updates to your test environment on Friday, March 3, 2017 and to your production environment on Friday, March 17, 2017. The update will be applied during your scheduled daily maintenance window.
New Features:
- New Smart View for Office is Available - A new version of Oracle Smart View for Office is available. Oracle recommends installing Smart View Release 11.1.2.5.620.

Monthly Update Schedule:
We would like to inform you of the upcoming monthly update for your Oracle Cloud environments. We will apply the latest updates to your test environment on Friday, March 3, 2017 and to your production environment on Friday, March 17, 2017. The update will be applied during your normal daily maintenance window.
Announcements:
New Transaction Matching Module Available - Transaction Matching is the latest addition to Oracle’s comprehensive Account Reconciliation Cloud Service and the perfect complement to the existing Reconciliation Compliance feature set. With Transaction Matching, companies can automate preparation of high volume / labor intensive reconciliations and seamlessly integrate those results into the tracking features within Reconciliation Compliance. This powerful new module will save companies additional time on performance of reconciliations, while improving quality and reducing risk. Once an Administrator performs the necessary steps to create the reconciliations, users will be able to load data, run the auto match process, confirm suggested matches, create manual matches and run balancing reports.
New Features:
This update applies routine maintenance and infrastructural updates.
- Service and User Activity Reports Are Now Available
- Require Entire Load Transactions File to be Error Free
- New EPM Automate Utility Version
Defects Fixed:
- 25165286 - Reconciliation Items tab now displays all attributes added.
Considerations:
- When using EPM Automate, log out and log in again after importing a Financial Close Management (FCM) snapshot to refresh the icons on the Home page.
- You may receive inaccurate messages from Navigator if pop-up blockers are enabled. Disable pop-up blockers in your browser to avoid this.
- In the Academy, some pages and icons may appear different in the video and the Cloud service.

Removal of Support for Financial Reporting Studio Desktop Client
Oracle is committed to providing a simple and intuitive experience to the users of the service. To achieve this goal, Financial Reporting Web Studio will be established as the only tool for designing and building reports. In this update, Financial Reporting Web Studio will achieve parity with most of the functional capabilities provided with Financial Reporting Studio desktop client. You will be able to create new reports and modify existing reports using Financial Reporting Web Studio.
Support for Financial Reporting Studio desktop client will tentatively be stopped in the May 2017 update. Oracle will not distribute Financial Reporting Studio desktop client after May 2017. Please send questions and concerns to Oracle using the Provide Feedback option in the service.
Oracle recommends that you transition to using Financial Reporting Web Studio at the earliest opportunity.
