The following announcements and considerations are outlined in the upcoming Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS) update:

Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS)
November 2018

Monthly Update Schedule:

Oracle will apply the latest updates to your test environments starting at 22:00 UTC (15:00 PDT) on Friday, November 2, 2018 and to your production environment on Friday, November 16, 2018, also starting at 22:00 UTC. NOTE: Account Reconciliation Cloud does not support migration of snapshots from the latest service version to an earlier service version (for example, when moving snapshots between test and production pods during the window when test is upgraded before production.) Migration between the same versions will still be supported.  Some objects, such as Profiles, may still be moved from the latest to an earlier version outside of migration snapshots by exporting them from the latest service version and importing them into the earlier version.

User Login Report in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud – What Is It and How Can I …

What is the user login report in EPM Cloud, and how can I access it?

Thank you to Venkat Maddipati, Software Development Manager, for the presentation on this topic.

The user login report contains information on the users who signed into an EPM cloud environment over a specified period of time. It shows the IP address of the computer from which the user logged in and the date and time at which the user accessed the environment. You can generate it in the user interface and by using the EPM Automate userauditreport command.

Sample User Login Report from the user interface:

User Login Report (exported from UI) – csv file:

About the EPM Automate userauditreport command

Using Subscriptions in Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDMCS)

Where can I learn about subscriptions in Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDMCS)?

You can now use subscriptions to make changes in one viewpoint and have those changes applied to target viewpoints for multiple business applications which require the same changes. Target viewpoints can subscribe to source viewpoints in the same or different applications in order to propagate changes made in the source viewpoint to the subscribing viewpoints.

Subscription requests are generated for subscribing viewpoints and can automatically be submitted for immediate synchronization across applications. Changes in subscription requests are validated in the subscribing viewpoints and requests that have issues are assigned to users for resolution.

For more information on subscriptions, review the following:
