Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS) – February 2019 Updates

The following announcements and considerations are outlined in the upcoming Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS) update:

Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS) February 2019

Monthly Update Schedule:

Oracle will apply the latest updates to your test environments starting at 23:00 UTC (15:00 PDT) on Friday, February 1, 2019 and to your production environment on Friday, February 15, 2019, also starting at 23:00 UTC. NOTE: Account Reconciliation Cloud does not support migration of snapshots from the latest service version to an earlier service version (for example, when moving snapshots between test and production pods during the window when test is upgraded before production.) Migration between the same versions will still be supported.  Some objects, such as Profiles, may still be moved from the latest to an earlier version outside of migration snapshots by exporting them from the latest service version and importing them into the earlier version.

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud – Changes to Cloud Readiness Site Content

Changes to Cloud Readiness Site Content

New in 2019, a "New Feature Summary" will be included for each Cloud service in addition to the "What’s New" document on the Oracle Cloud Readiness site.

  • New Feature Summary provides summary descriptions of all new features and functionality and is meant to be a quick overview of the enhancements in the release.
  • What’s New document will continue to provide:
    • The monthly update schedule
    • Detailed descriptions of new features
    • Links to key resources
    • Considerations
    • Upcoming changes to be aware of

For each Cloud service, the New Feature Summary appears first on the Readiness site. As an example, below is a screenshot of the EPM Account Reconciliation screen that shows the New Feature Summary and What's New sections.

For both the New Feature Summary and the What’s New, if you click HTML, you will see a list of the months available for the year you’ve selected. To view the document, click on the month you wish to view in the Update Version column of the table. See examples below for "New Features" and "What's New" sections.
